Location:
Djuma Vuyatela Lodge is ideally located in the Djuma Game Reserve which forms part of the scenic Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa. The Sabi Sand Game Reserve shares an unfenced border with the well known Kruger National Park, allowing African wildlife to roam free between the two parks.
Guests can easily access Vuyatela Lodge either by air or car. Guests can easily drive from Johannesburg or fly into Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) or Hoedspruit Airport. From there, guests can either make their way to Djuma Vuyatela by self drive. Road transfers can be organised on request.

Directions from Johannesburg:
From Johannesburg, drive along the N12 towards Witbanks and then onwards to Middleburg. Then take the R540 to Belfast, Dullstroom, Lydenburg, Origstad and continue through the Strydom Tunnel. As you approach Hoedspruit, take the R531 towards Klaserie and Acornhoek.
From Acornhoek, follow the signs for Sabi sabi to the Gowrie Gate. You will have to pay an entrance fee per vehicle. Djuma Vuyatela is situated about 2km (1.24 miles) from the Gowrie Gate. Follow the signs to Vuyatela Lodge.

Leopard (Panthera Pardus)

The Leopard is stockier in build than the cheetah and serval, which are the only other spotted cats of comparable size to be found in the Kruger National Park.
