Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge has superbly appointed suites in an intimate setting, in the heart of the African bushveld. Inspired by the textures, colours and shapes of the natural world, a corridor leads you down, on a journey beneath the ground, to an experience unique and unforgettable. A sense of peace consumes you at this Sabi Sand lodge.
Sabi Sabi's commitment is to the Earth, wilderness is vital to mankind. For in the wilderness people can find peace with themselves. So many of the answers one is searching for lie hidden in these places. Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge never sleeps. On a night game drive there are numerous nocturnal hunters and you may be lucky enough to spot a Lion, Leopard, Porcupine or Civet.
All safaris at this Sabi Sand lodge are conducted in open Land Rovers under the supervision of highly skilled and trained field guides (rangers and trackers). There are 2 safaris daily – each lasting around 3 hours during the prime viewing times (early morning and late afternoon/evening).

When the male foal reaches puberty, it starts building its harem, by abducting young mares from other families. After the male, a strict rank hierarchy is enforced. The first mare and her foals to join the harem take precedence over the second and so on.
