This Sabi Sand safari lodge is just a one hour flight from Johannesburg. You have the choice to flying into nearby Skukuza Airport and enjoy the 90 minute road journey through the bush to the top of the Ulusaba Mountain in Sabi Sands.
You can also take an air transfer from Skukuza to Ulusaba's private airstrip. You can even take a charter flight direct from Johannesburg. A champagne welcome awaits you at the lodge, where you amazing and memorable African adventure starts.
How to get there:
Directions from Johannesburg:
Take the N4/N12 to Nelspruit. Follow the R40 from Nelspruit to Hazyview, and then turn right onto the R536 from Hazyview towards Paul Kruger Gate. After 32 kilometres (19.9 miles), turn left onto the gravel road (signpost).
Follow the gravel road and signposts to the gate at Sabi Sand Game Reserve in South Africa. Here you will pay a vehicle entrance fee before proceeding through the Sabi Sands Gate (Newington Gate). Follow the Ulusaba signs to reception (approximately 17 kilometres/10.6 miles).
