Buffalo
|
Buffaloes live in herds of around one hundred which consist mostly of females and their offspring. Males spend much of their time in bachelor groups that either contain males from 4 to 7 years old or those of males from 12 years old or older.

An elephant's large ears are also used to control body temperature while blood circulating through the large vessels in the ears is cooled by flapping.
